Detail of one of the caryatids on the tomb for the Harvey and Telling families in the churchyard of St Mary’s Church, Fairford, Gloucestershire. It is an unusual tomb, perhaps unique in the Cotswolds, as it has 4 Greco-Egyptain-style caryatids as pillars on the 4 corners of the vault. The earliest recorded burial in this plot was for Ann Telling (d. 1805), but the tomb may date to the 1820s for the burial of 3 members of the Harvey family.
