The methodology focuses on using Infrared (IR) imaging to map the distribution of Egyptian Blue, a pigment distinctive to artefacts from Ancient Egypt. Its physical properties allow for straightforward non-invasive identification, as it shows characteristic luminescence in the IR range when illuminated with the visible light.
