Ehgan Ziyaaraiyy, Raa Atoll, Maldives3D ModelNoAI
This shrine mausoleum (Ehgan Ziyaaraiyy, MAHS-MDV-RAA-RSG-S-001-F-0002) and its nearby well are located within the cemetery grounds of the former Hukuru Miskiyy mosque complex on Rasgetheemu, Raa Atoll. The rectangular wooden ziyaaraiyy is built atop a base of coralstone block. Inside is a pair of coral gravestones with rounded tops, which traditionally mark a female burial. Beside it is Miskithu Valhu (MAHS-MDV-RAA-RSG-S-001-F-0003), a coral rubble step well with three entrances. Such features are associated with traditionalist Muslim ritual observances that are no longer practiced in the Maldives.
