A little piece of my town, “El plátino de la Plaza la Palla” in Ibi (Spain). This impressive tree is 12 metres high and belongs to the family called “Platanus Orientalis”. In the past there were three spicemen in the same square, as you can see in the picture, but two of them have dissapered nowadays. One during the Spanish Civil War (1937) and the other one in the year 1959 due to it was sick. It is not sure how old is the tree but it is stimated it’s 350 year old, one of the most antique in the region. Currently the tree is really damaged, it has suffered two fires along the history and it has a problem with fungus.
