It is a necropolis carved directly into the rock. There are nearly forty tombs of a rectangular or trapezoidal shape, aligned north-south and east-west. They are all carved in several large blocks of sandy rock. In some cases they have carved lids for better placement of the closing slabs. Most tombs are for adults but there are two for children. They are forming groups of two, three or four, excepting the western group which has eighteen tombs. Establishing a parallel with similar necropolises, the period can be determined between the 5th and 8th centuries a.C. They are found close to the cave paintings of the Roca dels Moros del Cogul (Les Garrigues region).
