Electrical room at 120m level

The old mine in Tuna hästberg has a well preseverd electrical room at the 120m level with a lots of details left. The iron ore mine stared in the begining of the 1600 and was closed in 1968 as is today known by diver all around the world. In Tuna Hästberg they have extracted iron ore, magnetite, also called black ore, with elements of manganese. The ore has low phosphorus content and could thus be used at the old cabins already far back in time. The field consists of six superimposed ore bodies, where the so-called Kronmalm gave the field’s richest ore with up to 54% pure iron.
