elemental weapon

My weapons research consists of mostly the raygun mark 2 and the origins staff from the game Call of Duty Black Ops 2. What I have in mind mostly is what if I combined the 2 weapons or at least a version of it. I decided to have pieces from both weapons but mostly the makings of the raygun mark 2 and have the power source of the weapon to be an elemental crystal which how I am thinking you can choose when playing the game kinda like the map Nuketown from zombies in Call of Duty Black Ops 4 where you could upgrade the Mark 2 to an elemental weapon but it was without the crystal. The elements are the same elements as the staffs that they give you in origin. I have decided to make the gun a powerful 0single shot weapon but one that you can charge and shoot it to have an even more powerful shot and destroy anything in your path, the longer you hold the charge the more powerful it is.
