Elephant Tusk recovered from the Irish SeaYour model is disabled. For more details go to Edit properties3D Model
An Elephant tusk recovered from the Irish Sea dated to around 17-18 century. Model is an accurate 3d representation. Was originally thought to be mammoth, but carbon dating proved otherwise. Still an interesting story, as one WW1 wreck nearby the find was said to have a cargo of ivory. Whether this tusk is from that ship or an earlier one, not sure we will ever find out.
