A model built using a design system of rectangular grids. This allows the structure to be cut cleanly along vertical planes, as shown. The vertical and horizontal planes inherent in the structure can readily be extended within as partitions . This model shows adaptibility of shape, as it is elongated on one axis and shortened on the vertical axis from a spherical form. Many parameters can be adjusted, to get more or less dense structure, This model, for example, has an inner and an outer surface with a framework of intersecting planes between. This framework can be composed in sparser ways. A single surface could be built with much simpler elements, like struts.
