here is the 3d scan of a buckeye stump. She was not cut off from the ground. This gives it a very interesting appearance, because it remains almost only the bark. Two sets of peripheral photos were needed, for a total of 35 images. The details are well made because the vertical slot in the bark is distinguished​.
