The funerary monument of the pastor Matthäus Faber (1543-1591) is located at the south tower of the parish church of St. Stephan in Eggenburg. Faber campaigned for the restoration of the old Michaelskapelle. In the center of the monument is the Mount of Olives scene. The grave monument was made in 1582 by sculptor Georg Eder.
