- A creation made for our application BavAR[t], an augmented reality platform for art and culture! Made for our collaboration with the non-profilt Et voilà!, dedicated to classical music in Paris 18.
The objective of this collaboration was to reach an new audience for the festival, introducing the public to classical music in an insolite way.
Here, this is the real score of the “Tyrolienne Turque, Croquis et agaceries d’un gros bonhomme en bois” piano piece by Erik Satie. This asset was used in augmented reality together with a piano recording, playing synchronously with the asset animation.
Erik Satie, “the velvet gentleman”, was an eccentric and mystic character. He was a collector, and had a particular obsession for velvet suits, umbrellas and handkerchiefs. After he died, his friends found in his apartment a collection of 14 black umbrellas, all identical, a series of velvet suits, all similar to that he was always wearing, giving him a dandy style.
