Esmahan Sultan Mosque3D Model
The Esmahan Sultan Mosque is the oldest mosque in Romania and is located in the city of Mangalia, along the Black Sea. The mosque was built in 1575 by Esmahan, the daughter of Ottoman Sultan Selim II, and is currently in use by the local Turkish-Tatar community. The mosque was constructed of stone recovered from the ancient city of Callatis, located in Mangalia. Prominent architectural features include a single minaret, wooden roofed-entrance and porch, and an oranate decorated wooden ceiling.
