Al rey se le retrata como Chaakh, la fuerza de vida. Él sale de la sagrada montaña de la Creación “Mo’ Witz’” (Montaña Guacamaya), el nombre de la montaña que aparece en el texto jeroglífico, personificada en la parte trasera de la estela. El Templo 22 de Copán es también una recreación de Mo’ Witz’, cuya imagen adorna las esquinas del templo.
The king is portrayed as Chaahk, the god of lightning and life force. He emerges from the sacred mountain of Creation “Mo’ Witz’” (Macaw Mountain), the mountain’s name appearing in the hieroglyphic text and the eyes of the personified mountain on the back of the stela. Temple 22 is a re-creation of Mo’ Witz’, its image adorning the temple’s corners.
