More model information

This model is of the armored ankylosaurian ornithischian dinosaur Euoplocephalus tutus (AMNH FR 5405). The specimen was CT scanned at OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital in Athens, Ohio, in 2005 as part of a research project, leading to publications in 2008 (http://bit.ly/2pp5V5C) and 2011 (http://bit.ly/2rCNCsT). This Sketchfab model was generated by Ryan Ridgely of WitmerLab and is derived from recent work done for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History for a new interactive exhibit. This research was funded in part by U.S. National Science Foundation grants to Witmer and Ridgely, and by the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
