To work on the expressive modelling of the human figure, we have used the busts made by Franz Xaver Messerchmidt as a starting point. Each student had to imagine the body and body gesture corresponding to the assigned bust. Eva Gómez Moreno worked on the bust “Geruch der zum Niesen reizt. Charakterkopf Nr. 31” in the Belvedere Museum in Vienna. She has clearly seen her character as a drunken, out-of-place tourist of the kind not infrequently seen at seaside touristic places. The piece is 56cm high.
