Excalibur Diorama

This is my submission for another weekly challenge given by Into Games, the theme this time being a resting place for a legendary mythical weapon. Going into this one was going to be tricky as I knew I had larger time constraints than previously so I wanted to keep things simple, my diorama is based on Arthurian legend and namely the Excalibur sword buried into a stone resting one final time. I wanted to make this scene based on Arthur being dead and the battle having already been fought leading to his sword being preserved near the lake where in which it was found, the glowing in this scene to give a little hope that there may be a return someday. I had fun with this one as I tried to get efficient and unwrap during the modelling process which was quicker overall however this could be because the scene contains less than the last diorama I created. It is cut down but realistically I think this is the best I could manage, this may be one I want to revisit and make better because it was a fun challenge.
