Excavation Units 1-5

This model showcases the 1x1 meter units that the team dug in the beginning of June. From right to left, unit 1-3 is exposing the original 1934 building foundation which also runs in units 4 and 5. You can see that in unit 4, some of the building foundation was removed to make room for the pvc pipe. With this infomation, we know now that the original buildings were oriented differently than the buildings that stand today.
