More model information

This is the second version of the Excelsior Refit that I made. Representing the 1701-B as seen on Star Trek: Generations. Also as the USS Lakota in Deep Space Nine. As with the Excelsior model she is mostly “eyeball” due to the lack of good blueprints of the original ILM studio model. However there were plenty of reference photos of the Lakota variant. The only visible differences between the Enterprise-B, and Lakota variant are the name, and registry. Also the color of the top Impulse Crystals. Enterprise-B was lighted in Blue. While the Lakota impulse crystals had a Purple/Pinkish color. Other than that both ships were identical.

This model is featured in the Homeworld: Remastered mod Star Trek: Continuum.
