This carving on the medieval font in Johnstown Catholic Church, Co. Meath came from the church at Kilcarne. The font itself shows the 12 apostilles with several figures on the underside. One of these figures, which Roe associated with a Beaver, has been suggested to be a Sheela-na-Gig in the past. It is unlikely this is a Sheela but does appear to be an animal with its head between its legs.
