More model informationThe focus of this project was to create a vehicle within an 8000-10,000 polygon range. After a few different iterations, the final design ended up becoming an exploratory mech with some bird like features, including the reverse jointed legs and small “wings” on either side of the main cabin. I wanted to experiment using a monochromatic color palette, which I think works well with the speckled metal material. I also did a lot of work with the normal map to create the metal seams as well as the rivets throughout the vehicle.
