More model information

3D reconstruction of what the extinct giant kangaroo from South Walker Creek might have looked like. Palaeontologists are still piecing together the skeleton from fossils found. Here you can see the fossil tibia (shin bone) placed beside the shin of the kangaroo. A 1m scale bar provides a scale for this enormous kangaroo.

3D Reconstruction. Zbrush. Authors: Konstantinov, V., Atuchin, A., & Hocknull, S. (2013). Scene Creator. Meshlab + Sketchfab: Hocknull, S. (2018). Copyright Queensland Museum This work was made possible by a partnership between Queensland Museum and BHP. For more information visit projectdig.qm.qld.gov.au
