More model informationDown in the depths of Bourne Mill on the centre of the wall facing the large internal waterwheel is this face. It’s obviously been badly damaged. No one seems to know who it is meant to be and why it is there.
One theory is that it might be the face of a roman goddess of the water. Bourne Mill was built in 1591 in the town of Colchester. If anyone has any ideas as to what/why its there, please leave a comment.
