Недостроенное здание в центре Калининграда, строительство которого началось в 1970 году. Считается одним из символов и главным «долгостроем» города. Во времена Перестройки начались проблемы с финансированием проекта.Во второй половине 80-х годов здание было готово на 95%, но строительные работы были приостановлены. В конце 2023 Дом Советов начали сносить.

The House of Soviets is an unfinished building located in the city of Kaliningrad (Königsberg prior to 1946) in the Kaliningrad Oblast, an exclave of Russia. The local people often refer to it as the “buried robot” because its appearance resembles the head of a giant robot which is buried in the ground up to the shoulders.
