More model informationModel of the Fagradalsfjall volcano on March 21 4 p.m.
The volcano erupted on March 19 on Reykjanes Peninsula after a swarm of earthquakes. It is the first eruption in about 800 years for this area. You can see multiple vents here, all following the fissure line that caused the eruption.
Big thanks to JourneyIceland for allowing me to use their fantastic drone video: https://youtu.be/XuMeLv9_oS0
This model is referenced to the mapbox satellite image and the arctic DEM for altitudes. It measures 500m by 690m. Orthoimages and Terrain models are available on request (likely not very accurate, georeferenced by using satellite images only).
