Fall Color // Sagehen Meadow // Eastern Sierra 3D Model
Sagehen Meadow is a small corner of Mono County that is well known for its beautiful annual displays of fall foliage in the month of October.
The area is remote, but easily reachable from the 395 corridor by taking Highway 120 east to Sage Hen Meadow Road (there is a small brown sign). The road is dirt but it is well-graded and maintained, and is roughly two miles to the meadow – as of this posting, it can easily be taken by sedans and the like.
The best way to see these colors is to go in person, but for those who haven’t had the chance or are on the fence - enjoy this 3D map we created using our drones on Oct. 1 - jump around to the different spots we highlighted with annotations and let us know what you think in the comments!
