Fallen stone, St Levan Chapel, Cornwall

At some point in the past this large boulder, possibly used as part of the wall of the building, fell forwards and covered part of the chapel floor. Before excavation could take place, the stone had to be moved. It was recorded carefully before being broken up by a specialist team. Traces of wall plaster can be seen on the underside.
