Faravahar Mosaic, Smatphone scan

100% Automated no clean-up requried

This handmade mosaic of the Faravahar was made by Laurence Moscrop, M-XR’s Machine Learning Lead. The Mosaic was scanned using just a 12Mp smarphone - Samsung Galaxy S23, using the phones built-in flash and no additional hardware.

Fully Automated material capture using M-XR’s universal software that delivers clean : Diffuse, Specular, Roughness, Normal maps as 8k 32bit EXRs.

These can be delivered to a variety of different shaders & engines, including custom shaders. M-XR’s software works on both professional photogrammetry rigs, and novice smart-phone based photogrammetry scanning.
