Feature 307, Stratum A, Level 3, Tremaine Site 3D Model
Feature 307, Stratum A, Level 3 at the Tremaine site (47LC95) near Holmen, Wisconsin. This model is a combination of two seperate models of the east and west half of the feature which were excavated in two different years. The western half was excavated in the summer of 2016 and the eastern half was excavated in the summer of 2017.
The feature contained a large deposit of lithic debitage as well as the partial remains of a black bear (skull and vertebra) and a domesticated dog. The pit is approximately 1.7m in diameter and once completely excavated was just over 1m in depth below the original ground surface.
