I think I’m getting better at somethings. (Still lacking in architecture though) Starting to practice my hard surface skills. I’m trying for a retro-ish vibe (inspired a bit by Metropolis and Japanese live action Sentai/Tokusatsu type style). Not sure if success or fail… lulz. The Fembot was the original idea but I kinda want to put my things into scenes and poses for extra fun so I gave her some tools and a mean doodad to face off with. I still need work on making very small details, but as I’m usually doing game assets I probably won’t get into that too much, but still need to. I do need to learn how to bake all of the very fine detail geometry into normal maps though. I’m used to making normal maps with subsurface details but I don’t know how to wrap the detail geometry and get a decent texture and normal map on a low poly LOD version.
