Ferrari 275 GTB
3D Model Inspired by a Maranello Classic The Ferrari 275 GTB, produced from 1964 to 1968, marked a turning point in automotive design history. Unveiled at the 1964 Paris Motor Show, it succeeded the elegant 250 GT Lusso and became the first road-going Ferrari to feature a five-speed transaxle. Its 3.3-liter Colombo V12 engine delivered up to 280 hp, while its design—crafted by Pininfarina and Scaglietti—blended aerodynamic lines with a muscular silhouette and a distinctive Kamm tail.
Praised for both beauty and performance, the 275 GTB featured independent suspension on all four wheels, disc brakes, and a top speed near 260 km/h. It also spawned racing variants like the 275 GTB/C and the rare 275 GTB “Speciale,” adapted for competition after the FIA declined to homologate the 250 LM.
This 3D model by Oriol Jaumot Martí faithfully recreates the iconic vehicle with technical precision and historical respect, as part of his hard surface modeling training.
