Figurine of Seated Man (Tukkata Sia Ka Ban)3D Model
A terracotta figurine of a seated man (MAHS-THA-COL-005-O-0012) from the Ban Phraek Collection, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand. It was found near the old Lopburi River and measures 7 cm wide x 12.50 cm high. The figure is seated on a chair with his feet stepping on a lion. Objects like this were usually placed at a road junction or afloat flowing water. There is visible repair on the broken neck. As part of an exorcising ritual, this figure would have been beheaded. It is possible that the head has been replaced.
