Filhote da Cagarra Island (MoNa Ilhas Cagarras)

Part of the Monumento Natural das Ilhas Cagarras, this small rock has a low altitude and rounded features, remaining hidden by the “Mother” Cagarra for an observer located on Ipanema Beach. On this islet there is a deep valley formed between the two highest portions, into which the sea enters with considerable force.
