After importing my hi res model (around 2.5 mil tris) into Zbrush I used its retopo and decimate functions to get the model down to a clean 400k. Taking it back into Blender I used the native decimate modifier and played around till I reached a happy medium of 20k tris.
Textures look like they need a bit tweaked from the hi-res so might take it back into SP2 after my college work this weekend. However I am happy with the result and happier still to have gained some knowledge and experience using Cages for High>Low poly meshes and incorporating Zbrush into my workflow.
