‘Floater’ creature based on a cut Half-Life design. Unlike many cut creatures, it was lucky to make it far enough to get an animated model and rudimentary AI. It would’ve been encountered in Xen and sometimes in Black Mesa facility. But it was still cut after all.
In Dark Interval, floaters serve as passive, docile fauna. They float, they sink when damaged, and release opaque gas when killed.
