Floating Nautilus

This render turned out well reflecting the original fossil accurately.

Just finished preparing this nice Nautilus sp. from the Jurassic of Monmouth beach, Dorset. It has been prepared so that it is suspended above its own natural limestone base. The Nautilus measures 20 cm at its widest point.
