This asset was part of an assignemnt for my final year in Staffordshire University Games Art course. The asset has a Tri count of 16k and a high to low method was used. I used Substance Painter for the materials.
Overall, I believe that the asset and the materials look good, I am proud that I succesfully manage to add the inside parts of the asset, however there is plenty of room for improvement. The inside parts of the handgun are not as completed or realistic as they could be, some of the detail in the handgun is either warped (Adding detail in the high poly to map it onto the low poly caused the warpping) and the materials could look a lot more realistic.
Hopefully, in a years time I can come back to this gun and apply everything learnt from my mistakes in this project.
