This model is from the course in life drawing that I teach. Students build this model as a simplified Ecorche in coloured clay onto a 430mm 3D printed skeleton armature, as well as studying aspects of form drawing, and of course drawing from the life model (nude artists’ model). I currently teach this course in Brisbane, Australia and Florence, Italy.
Note that the pose is designed to have an extended and flexed leg, arm, and foot. There is a supinated (palm up) and pronated (palm down) forearm. The torso is in contra-posto (weight on one leg) with a small twist.
