1. red tires are soft tires (most grip least tire life)
2. yellow tires are medium tires (a balance between grip and tire life)
3. white tires are hard tires (least grip most tire life)
4. green tires are intermediate tires (used when track is too wet for slick tires but too dry for full wet tires)
5. Blue tires are wet tires (used when there is standing water on the track and when it’s too wet for intermediates)
