Fort Amherst is known as the Maritime gateway to St. John’s, Newfoundland. Built in 1777 to protect the entrance to St. John’s Harbour, it was name after Colonel William Amherst who recaptured St. John’s from the French in 1762. Fort Amherst was designated a national historic site of Canada in 1951.

This photogrammetric model was stitched from 354 photos taken from a Draganfly X4-ES unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
