Fortress Island

Another piece inspired by Bronze Age Aegean cultures, this is a companion to Megaron Citadel.

These belong in the same world. The island is located a few days’ sail from the Citadel headland, and another two days’ from the northern continent. The fortifications here look very different from the crude, cyclopean walls at Citadel Mountain, but the megaron-style main building hints at the presence of people from the south. Given the ideal location of the island, it has probably been fought over for centuries, with each successive holder leaving their mark.
