The “Fours and Sixes” wreck is located in Lake Union just in front of downtown Seattle near an active marina. We created a 3D model of this subject in January 2022 as part of a GUE Seattle exploration weekend focused on diving and documenting some of the shallow and rarely dove wrecks in Lake Union.
This wreck is unidentified and it is labeled with a pair of 4s and 6s at the bow and stern respectively. It’s likely to have been converted from its original role, as the superstructure is absent. A propeller (obscured by plant growth in this model) and what appears to be a steam boiler remain intact. A number of other assorted debris litter the wreck and the area, some of which may be related to the wreck.
The dive team for this target was Sebastian Schröder, Ashley Stewart, and Kees Beemster Leverenz with Travis Bird in charge of the boat.
