More model informationThis bead was found near Saint Servatius in the city of Maastricht, Netherlands. This bead dates back from the 6-7th Century. Many of the beads found in the Netherlands were certainly created in the Middle East or Mediterranean area. This one was found in the grave of a deceased woman, probably as a mean of protection and to demonstrate the social power of the deceased lady.
