Franks Farm - 1901 House 3D Model
The 1901 house: one of five structures on the Franks farmstead in the City of Green, Ohio. This Foursquare home, built by Emanuel Franks, replaced the c. 1840 Greek Revival 2-story frame house as the primary residence.
“Features of the main house include a hipped roof with central front dormer and wall dormers to each side, a dentiled cornice, a broad front porch with dentiled cornice and 4 metal posts, a main facade with two central doors. Porches also exist on the east and rear (north) elevations; both have shed roofs and simple columns. Windows have 1/1 wood sash, except for front dormer casement windows. Side dormers have pedimented gables with Palladian windows.” - Judy Williams 1997 for the Ohio Historic Preservation Office (No. SUM-3162-20)
This is a part of an ongoing process to preserve the Franks farmstead (https://skfb.ly/6sAPN) within an overall effort to document the historical and cultural heritage of the City of Green.
