More model informationAn Egyptian oil lamp dating to the Roman Period, c. 3-4th Century AD, possibly terracotta, from the Garstang Museum of Archaeology. The lamp is mould-made in the ‘frog lamp’ shape. It consists of a discus with central filling hole and smoke nozzle. The lamp is decorated with incised relief, including maker’s mark on the base.
