This group of pictographs and petroglyphs is on rock art panel 9 in the Grotto Alcove of the Palatki Cultural Heritage Site located in the Red Rock District of the Coconino National Forest near Sedona, Arizona.
These pictographs are interpreted to be primarily from Archaic, Sinagua, and Yavapai cultures.
There are many rock art panels with pictographs and petroglyphs from multiple pre- and proto-historic cultures that were active in the Verde Valley region including Archaic, Sinagua, Yavapai, Western Apache, Hopi, Navajo and modern European-derived cultures.
