This Pictograph is set approximately 15 feet above ground level above and to the east of the remnants of room 34. The image is interpreted to represent a “flute player”. This symbol is typically associated with themes related to fertility.
This pictograph has been attributed to the Sinagua paleo-indian culture. It most likely dates from the time period 1100 AD to 1300 AD.
The Honanki Cultural Heritage site is situated in the Red Rock District of the Coconino Forest to the Northwest of Sedona Arizona. The site is open most days of the year from 9:30am to 3:00 pm.
