This is a remote site in the Coconino Forest of Central Arizona. The Basalt Boulder has a large number of Sinagua petroglyphs. This model shows an area of approximately 2 meters wide. This site has been severely impacted by vandalism with attempts to remove some of the petroglyphs by cutting and wedging sections of rock. .It is a a location totally exposed to natural weathering and is progressively deteriorating
This modeling effort is being carried out to document the area prior to rockart elements being lost due to natural weathering and vandalism.
