This small area of Palatki Grotto Panel 17 with evidence of very faint pictographs in a complex series of superposition with very fine scratching believed to be pre-historic. On the right side of the model is part of a Sinagua zoomorph at right angles to the highly weathered surface noted above. o left is a sub panel with a complex series of overlying pictographs.
This is a complex rock art panel with multiple instances of superposition of Archaic, Sinagua, Yavapai, Apache and historic graffiti
This model is part of an ongoing project to evaluate superposition of Archaic and younger imagery over older petroglyph scratching.
