More model informationLa Concha Fountain. It is the old Valsequillo Fountain that began to be named de la Concha in times of the Second Republic because of the large shell that adorns it. Spring fountain that lost its flow when in 1933 the mine that supplied it with water was cut to make, outside the Nursery, the Fountain of Health.
Its location corresponded to the old course of the Arroyo de Valsequillo, which was diverted by order of Philip II to provide water to the ponds. It is surrounded by a hearth and surroundings forming a small square that can hardly be seen due to the abundant vegetation in the area. DUE TO ITS LOCATION WITHIN THE NURSERY IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO VISIT IT
